About Me

Welcome to Chasing Teenagers

My name is Drew Hill and I started this site as a resource for the parents of the teenagers I get the privilege to chase every day.

One of my daughter's favorite games is hide & seek, but she's just plain horrible at hiding. Why does she lay in the middle of the den, barely covered by a blanket?

Because she longs to be found.

Each time I round the corner and spot her, Hide & Seek then becomes a game of chase.

"Chase me Daddy! I bet you can't catch me!"

She runs because she longs to be caught.
She needs to know that I love her enough to chase her.

2,000 years ago Jesus told a similar story about a father running to his son, one we've come to know as the Prodigal. In Luke 15:20 Jesus says, "When the son was still a long way off, his father saw him. His heart pounding, he ran out, embraced him, and kissed him."

Maybe you feel like your son or daughter is running away.

This site is designed to be an encouragement for you and all parents out there who are experiencing the mystery of adolescence.  I don't have all the answers, but I do know the love of a Heavenly Father who chased me down when I was just thirteen years old.  My passion is to chase after teenagers with that same love, and to help you do the same.
